Requirements of the role

• Would you make a good mentor for adults with learning disabilities
• Do you have a valid UK Driving licence?
• Are you comfortable supporting people with challenging behaviour?
• Are you fun? Can you make a positive impact to the people we support?
• Can you coach and support others to be more independent?

Roles & Responsibilities 

A huge part of the role is parting in meaningful activities with the people we support, making this role perfect for someone who lives an active lifestyle. Some of our most common activities can include but are not limited to Swimming, Hiking, Cinema, Bowling, Trampolining & Arts and Crafts.

Part of your role is to support a person during significant emotional issues. This can be challenging but also very rewarding. The right person for the role will be calm, confident and assured to help that person recover in tough moments. On the other hand it’s equally important the right person is fun and positive to help improve the emotional well being of those they support, and get the most from what is an incredibly fun and rewarding role.
