Performing various tasks including kitchen setup and preparation, ensuring food safety, partaking in food production and cleaning. Salary: £24,420.00 – £36,916.38 a year
Location: Leicester, UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Prepare of stations food stock in readiness for service
- Prepare all food items to company specification
- Have previous knowledge and use of a rational cooking centre
- Cook food items by grilling, frying, roasting and other methods to specification
- Maintain impeccable cleaning practices and food handling in line with company policies
- Perform stock rotation and storage procedures including FIFO
- Clean down to a high standard before shift completion
Eligibility Requirements:
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts throughout a 7 day rota.
- Culinary qualifications and experience
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Accuracy and relevant speed in executing tasks
- Organisational skills
- Passion for working with food
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team member
- Follows directions and instructions
