Job Title: Domiciliary Care Worker
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £13 an hour
Location: Devon, United Kingdom
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
– Assisting service users with personal care — washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Supporting with meal preparation and nutrition
– Administering medication in line with care plans and your training
– Providing companionship and emotional support
– Assisting with light domestic tasks and household management
– Following individual care plans and risk assessments accurately
– Completing care records and reporting any changes in a service user’s condition
– Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and your supervisor as required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
– A warm, compassionate, and patient nature
– Good communication skills — both spoken and written English
– Reliability and punctuality — our service users count on you
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– A valid UK driving license and access to your own vehicle
– Right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship
– Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check
– Previous experience in domiciliary care, residential care, or support work is desirable — but not essential as full training will be provided
