About the Role
- Providing daily care, including tracheostomy care, PEG feeding, and mobility and continence support (full training provided).
- Supporting communication using PECS, Makaton, and electronic augmentative and alternative communication (training will be provided).
- Supporting play, therapy routines, and school/nursery activities. Play will be goal-directed, focusing on motor, communication, and cognitive skill development.
- Important targets will be set each month, and we will aim to achieve them.
- Improving oral motor skills through speech-language therapy.
- Accompanying the child to school and on community outings (driving essential).
- Working closely with parents and other carers as part of a friendly, professional team.

Hours & Shifts
- Minimum of 30 hours weekly, with potential to increase to 40–48 hours.
- Term time:
- Weekdays: 3pm–9pm
- Fridays: 1pm–9pm
- Non-school days & weekends:
- 12-hour shifts on a rota basis.
- Any changes in timing will be communicated to you.
Pay & Benefits
- £20.00–£24.00 per hour (highly competitive, benchmarked against NHS Band 5/6).

About You
These are mandatory requirements
- Ideally, 2+ years’ experience supporting children with complex or physical needs in the UK.
- Caring, patient, reliable, and a team player.
- Seeking a long-term, stable role.
- Full UK manual driving licence required.
- Must already have the right to work in the UK.
- PSW (Post-Study Work) visa holders considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on experience and long-term commitment.
- Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship.
