Eligibility Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, experience in senior care, and a compassionate approach to supporting residents. This role involves supervising and supporting care staff, developing and implementing care plans, and ensuring the highest standards of personalised care within a care home environment. The Senior Carer will maintain effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the care team, providing guidance and leadership to ensure high-quality care
- Develop, review, and implement personalised care plans tailored to individual needs
- Assist residents with daily activities such as personal hygiene, mobility, medication management, and nutrition
- Monitor residents’ health and wellbeing, reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals promptly
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the care environment
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided using IT systems
- Communicate effectively with residents’ families to keep them informed about their loved ones’ wellbeing
