Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will be delivering the day to day workload as member of a dedicated team, to include:
– Chemotherapy – cytotoxic reconstitution service.
– Parenteral Nutrition Service serving both hospital and home patients, including adult and neonatal products.
– Intravenous Additive Service to offer an extensive range of products for both Royal University Hospitals and external customers.

Experience
Essential
- Demonstrable knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) or QC laboratory practical work experience and/or substantial experience in an industrial/pharmaceutical setting
- Experience of working in a team
- Experience of the preparation of aseptic products
Desirable
- Experience of using automated equipment
Qualifications
Essential
- NVQ Level 3 Pharmacy Services or Science Manufacturing Technician or equivalent
Desirable
- NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Services, Science Manufacturing Technician or equivalent
- A member of the GPhC council, Science Council or equivalent
