We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Team Lead to support and oversee domiciliary care services across clients’ homes, assisted living, and community settings. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality care delivery, supporting care staff, and maintaining excellent standards. This role involves a combination of hands-on care, conducting care calls, completing spot checks, and mentoring staff to enhance service quality and client wellbeing.

Salary: £13.45-£15.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality personal care and support to clients in their own homes
- Conduct regular care calls to ensure continuity and quality of service
- Carry out spot checks and supervisions to monitor staff performance and compliance
- Act as a senior member of staff, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to care workers
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, mobility, and meal preparation
- Administer medication in line with care plans and company policies
- Support clients with mobility, including manual handling where required
- Provide emotional support and companionship, promoting independence and dignity
- Assist with light housekeeping to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities when required
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or wellbeing promptly
- Promote and maintain a positive, safe, and person-centred care environment
Requirements & Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience in domiciliary care, home care, or similar setting
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other complex needs is desirable
- Proven ability to lead, support, and mentor care staff
- Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification (completed, currently undertaking, or willing to work towards)
- Valid UK driving licence with access to own vehicle
- Knowledge of medication administration and basic care practices
- Good understanding of safeguarding and person-centred care
- Strong communication and organisational skills
