Domicillary Healthcare Worker – Mac healthcare and training (Full-time)

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Health Care Workers both male and female required preferabbly Drivers with Uk licensce to provide high-quality in-home care to clients in need. This role involves supporting individuals with a variety of health and personal needs, ensuring their comfort, safety, and independence within their own homes. The position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable adults and seniors. Please note that sponsorship is not available for this role. Salary: From £12.21 an hour

Responsibilities

  • Assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
  • Supporting patients with assisted living needs, including meal preparation and light housekeeping
  • Administering medication as prescribed and maintaining accurate records
  • Providing specialised care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or other cognitive impairments
  • Offering companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
  • Assisting with nursing tasks under supervision where applicable
  • Driving clients to appointments or social activities in a safe and timely manner
  • Managing behaviour challenges with patience and effective behaviour management techniques
  • Responding promptly to emergency situations using first aid skills when necessary
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for clients at all times

Skills

  • Experience in assisted living, home care, or nursing home environments is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of patient care practices, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care
  • Familiarity with medication administration and basic nursing procedures
  • Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate approach towards clients of all ages, including children and seniors
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for client transfers or mobility assistance
  • Excellent organisational skills for managing schedules and documentation accurately
  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record for client transportation purposes
  • First aid certification is preferred but not essential; training can be provided if necessary
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals
