Cleaning Operative – INDUSTRIAL SITE MAINTENANCE LTD (Part-time)

We have a cleaning operative vacancy at our site in Luton- DHL Global Forwarding, Unit 2, Foster Avenue, Woodside industrial park, Dunstable, LU55TA. This contracted hours are 17.5 a week and there is flexibility within when these can be delivered, this can be discussed at interview. You will be carrying out all Facility cleaning services on site. You will provide great service to our clients by ensuring that standards are maintained through adherence to the set processes on site. You will have high standards of cleanliness naturally and take pride in the work that you do. You will report to the Service Delivery Manager

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the office are thoroughly cleaned each night to a high standard
• Cleaning of staff facilities such as the canteen and toilets
• Replenish any consumables required
• Occasional working in the warehouse if and when required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times
• Adhere to all ISM and client health and safety rules and requirements
• Wear any required personal protective equipment (PPE) or site-specific clothing as directed
• Vacuuming of rooms and corridors and emptying of waste bins
• Dusting and wiping furniture, ledges, chairs, and skirting boards
• Sweeping and mopping floor surfaces
• Report anything in need of repair or replacement
• Record all cleaning tasks as directed
• Maintain good relations with client staff, contractors, and visitors to the site

Eligibility Requirements:

• Work on their own initiative and organise their own time as they will be managed remotely
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team
• React to feedback appropriately to provide great service to customers
• Good attention to detail to deliver high standards
• Good written and verbal communication skills are essential to communicate with customers and managers and comply with Health & Safety regulations.
