Clinical Support Worker – University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust (Visa Sponsorship).

We have created an exciting new clinical support post in speech and language therapy at the RSCH in Brighton. This post has been specifically designed to support the SaLT specialist teams in ENT and paediatric dysphagia. Working across both specialties offers a unique opportunity to develop a breadth of knowledge, skills and competencies. To enable this, you will be supported by both teams of highly experienced speech and language therapists who will work with you, supervise your input to patients and monitor your development in the role.

Salary: 27,485 – 30,162 £ / Year

Location: Brighton & Hove, East Sussex, Sussex, United Kingdom.

Main duties of the job

  1. Carry out therapy programmes under the guidance of the SaLT teams.
  2. Conduct telephone reviews with patients and carers.
  3. Assist in a variety of clinics.
  4. Carry out clinical administration.
  5. Organise, prepare and administrate outpatient clinics.

Person Specification

Essential

  • Relevant qualification
  • Relevant clinical experience
  • Experience of administration using IT systems and spreasheets
  • Knowledge of clinical areas of the post and the role of SaLT
