I own a small but highly successful home-based greeting card franchise business and as such I am part of the Card Connection Franchise network. Card Connection is by some distance the largest of the greeting card suppliers to the retail convenience sector in the UK and Ireland, supplying to retail shops and post offices. My base is in Waterbeach, just outside Cambridge.

Salary: £15 per hour
Location: 2 Saxon Way, Cambridge, UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Careful unpacking and sorting of returning card stock
- Putting together boxes of cards for display in retail outlets following the bespoke picking list accurately, and ensuring a mix of design styles within the selection
- Checking and sorting new stock card orders when they come in
- Putting together seasonal displays e.g Xmas, Mothers Day
- Sorting returning seasonal cards by code and then design.
- Keeping a close eye on stock levels so that we do not run short of stock on any card caption
- Ordering new card stock from the franchisee ordering website
- You will also get the opportunity to help out with merchandising in retaol outlets if you wish to.
- You will need the ability to be well-organised and be able to work using your own initiative.
- No previous experience is required as full training will be provided.
