We are urgently seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Senior Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will lead the night shift, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents while maintaining the high standards of care that Waters View is known for.

Salary: £160 a day

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise the night care team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Provide person-centred care to residents, including assistance with personal care, mobility, and other needs.
- Administer medication in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and ensure the safety and security of the home during the night.
- Maintain accurate records and complete necessary documentation.
- Conduct regular checks on residents and ensure a calm, quiet, and comforting environment.
- Act as a point of contact for residents, staff, and family members during the night.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a care role, ideally in dementia care.
- NVQ Level 3 (or working towards) is highly desirable – but we’ll provide training and support if you’re nearly there
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Flexibility to work nights, including weekends and bank holidays.
- £££ – starting from £13 per hour, with all breaks paid
