In this role, you will provide high-quality care to our residents in a care home setting, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being. - Deliver personal care and support to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of residents’ health and well-being, ensuring that care plans are followed and updated as necessary.
- Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support in their daily tasks.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care.
- Assist in the administration of medication as per established protocols.
- Engage residents in social activities and promote their independence through meaningful interactions.
- Ensure that the care home environment is safe, clean, and welcoming for all residents.
Skills
- Proven experience in senior care or a similar role within a care home setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and motivate a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and their families compassionately.
- Familiarity with developing and implementing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Proficient IT skills for maintaining records and communication within the team.
