Roles & Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting patients and visitors.
- Ensuring referrals are input correctly into Adastra appointment system.
- Ensuring any patients selecting to walk in are asked a series of prescribed questions to eliminate any acute presentations and redirected as appropriate
- Handling internal and external enquires from all sources, in person, by telephone, email or post in a timely and polite manner
- Work alongside clinicians in the provision of patient care, responding to requests in a timely manner , whilst ensuring protocols and procedures are followed.
- Act as chaperone when required and oversee clinical examinations.
- Assisting in protocols governing the opening and closing of the premises.
- Adhering to Health & Safety regulations.
- Ensure all departmental required checks are completed
- Work collaboratively as a team member to achieve the objectives of the service
- Make effective use of the IT system by ensuring the consistent and accurate entering of data.
- Adhere to confidentiality guidelines and be aware of the data protection act.
- Maintain a clean reception and waiting area.
