Salary: £12.21 – £15.00 an hour
Location: The Tooth Sanctuary
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Support the clinic or reception (Any one role at a time) for 2 days a week (Mondays and Fridays) and work in practice compliance 1 day of the week (Wednesdays)
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, ensuring an efficient flow of patients throughout the day.
- Manage patient records with accuracy, maintaining confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing inquiries and providing information about services offered.
- Process patient payments and handle billing inquiries with professionalism.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care.
- Maintain an organised reception area, ensuring it is welcoming and tidy at all times.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed, including filing and managing correspondence.
- Review and supervise compliance as per CQC requirements
Eligibility Requirements:
- Previous experience as a dental nurse , CQC or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and experience in compassionate patient care is essential
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient IT skills, including experience with dental software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
