Main duties of the job
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team & be accountable to the registered nurses they work with
- Be accountable as professionals registered with the NMC & work to the Code for Nurses, Midwives and Nursing Associates

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
Essential
- GCSEs Grade A-C in Maths and English or key skills level 2 in Maths and English
- Demonstrable ability to study at Level 5 Diploma of Higher Education Level and commit to completing the Foundation Degree programme
- Qualified Nursing Associate
Desirable
- Care certificate or equivalent
Previous Experience
Essential
- Experience of working in a health or caring setting

- Experience of working within a secure environment
Skills & Knowledge

- Ability to work effectively as a team player under appropriate supervision, and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
- Insight into how to evaluate own strengths and development needs, seeking advice where appropriate

- Intermediate IT skills
- Ability to communicate with members of the public and health and care providers
- Ability to deal with non-routine and unpredictable nature of the workload and individual patient contact
