Job Title: Library Assistant
Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time
Salary: £31,720 – £34,925 per annum

Roles & Responsibilities:
- The Library Assistant role is key to student and staff experience of Library services at Goldsmiths, delivering an exemplary service to Library customers.
- This role is the first point of contact for first-tier enquiries and support, ensuring our physical and online spaces operate smoothly.
- This role has primary responsibility for staffing Library service points on a rota basis to maintain staffed opening hours.
Eligibility Requirements:
- You will be a collaborative and adaptable professional with experience in libraries, information services, or customer service environments.
- You will bring the ability to take responsibility for day-to-day service supervision, ensuring smooth and effective operations.
- Your exemplary communication skills will enable you to work successfully across teams, support colleagues, resolve complex enquiries, and build strong working relationships to help deliver high-quality services.
- Confident in administration, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and bring strong data handling and analysis capabilities.
