Each position requires that Staff work every other weekend.
Job Title: Home Care Support Worker

Salary: £24,420.00 – £35,205.38 a year

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised patient care, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Support with medication administration and monitoring health conditions
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Offer companionship and behavioural management for clients with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed
- Respond promptly to emergencies using first aid skills when necessary
- Support clients with activities of daily living in a respectful and empathetic manner
- Manage medication schedules and ensure proper documentation of care provided
- Assist with heavy lifting or transfers for clients requiring mobility support
Eligibility Requirements:
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home care, or home care settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of dementia, Alzheimer’s, hospice, and senior care is advantageous
- Experience in medication administration and first aid certification is preferred
- Familiarity with behaviour management techniques for clients with cognitive impairments
- Valid driving licence is beneficial for providing transportation support
- Experience or caring for individuals with special needs is considered a plus
