Salary: £12.21 an hour
Location: Norwich, United Kingdom
Your Role:
As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work as part of a dedicated team, providing personal care and emotional support to residents, many of whom are living with dementia. You will:
- Assist with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Support residents with meals and hydration
- Promote independence, dignity, and choice
- Build strong, trusting relationships with residents and their families
- Record care notes and report changes in residents’ health or behaviour
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and reminiscence
About You:
- Experience in care (particularly dementia care) is preferred but not essential – full training will be provided
- Empathetic, kind, and patient with a genuine interest in supporting older people
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to undertake mandatory training and NVQ/QCF qualifications if required
- Flexible and reliable with a professional approach
