Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Support clients in following their individual care plans to ensure their specific needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to provide updates on client status and needs.
- Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
- Maintain accurate records of client care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising nurse or healthcare professional.
- Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to the role.
- Uphold the dignity and respect of clients at all times, fostering a positive environment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Previous care experience (professional or personal).
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to drive is advantageous for transporting clients as needed.
- Knowledge of care plans and the ability to implement them effectively.
- A caring attitude with a passion for helping others improve their quality of life.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating with team members.
- Reliable, respectful, and trustworthy individual.
- Legal right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
