We are currently recruiting compassionate, reliable and dedicated Female Support Workers/Care Assistants to join our growing team. You will be supporting individuals in their own homes to live independently, safely and with dignity. Salary: £12.21 – £14.00 an hour
Location: York, UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Support with daily living tasks including meal preparation, medication reminders and light housekeeping
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring safety and comfort
- Communicate effectively with clients, families and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate care records and report concerns to senior staff
- Adhere to all safety, health and confidentiality guidelines
Eligibility Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence & access to a reliable vehicle (preferred)
- ✅ Compassionate, patient and empathetic nature
- ✅ Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
- ✅ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ✅ Flexible approach to working hours
- ✅ Willingness to undertake a DBS check and required training
