Salary: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Main Responsibilities
- Provide personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Support individuals with mobility and physical activities to promote independence.
- Monitor and assist service users, ensuring safety, comfort, and reassurance.
- Communicate effectively with service users to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain accurate records of observation notes, care plans, and service user progress.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
- Engage service users in conversations and activities that support emotional well-being.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care.
- Support the service user with household responsibilities, as required.
- Safely manage and record medication as per procedures.
Person Specifications
- Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining digital records and communication.
- A genuine passion for helping others and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work flexibly, including alternate weekends, evenings, and bank holidays.
- Ability to support individuals who may present challenges, responding calmly and effectively, and implementing clear boundaries when required.
- Enhanced DBS check with satisfactory clearance (required before start date).
