Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £21,500.00-£27,000.00 per year

Location: London, United Kingdom (Hybrid).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely, efficient, and safe allocation of care assistants to customers based on their care and support plans.
  • Work closely with our care team in the office and the management to recruit and onboard skilled care assistants, ensuring we meet the needs of both the business and our clients.
  • Provide cover for care assistant absences, including sickness, holidays, or short notice situations.
  • Manage incoming referrals for new care and support requests, processing them quickly and effectively.
  • Regularly review and update customers’ care and support plans to ensure they are always aligned with their evolving needs.
  • Coordinate and ensure adequate staff coverage to meet care requirements, always considering both customer needs and staff well-being.
  • Use IT systems to schedule care assistants, making sure that each one is matched with the right customer based on skills, preferences, and availability.
  • Adjust care plans as necessary and prioritise care in emergency situations.
  • Distribute weekly rotas to staff and communicate any necessary updates or changes.
  • Participate in an out-of-hours emergency on-call rota, once fully trained and assessed for competency.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provision, travel, and incident reports, while ensuring confidentiality and data protection.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all customer information remains confidential and is shared only when necessary for their safety and well-being.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the Registered Manager and team, contributing to the smooth running of the service.
  • Foster strong communication with customers and their families, ensuring that diverse communication needs are met.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuous improvement of care standards and outcomes.
  • Adhere to Peaches Health Care’s policies and procedures, delivering care in line with best practice standards.
