Job Title Care Assistant (Nights)

Job Type Part-time, Permanent

Salary £12.25-£12.82 per hour

Location Shrewsbury, England

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to residents in accordance with their individual care plans.
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Foster a warm and welcoming environment that encourages independence and personal dignity.Engage residents in social activities that promote well-being and enjoyment.
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in residents’ conditions.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure comprehensive care delivery.
• Uphold health and safety standards within the facility at all times.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.

Eligibility Requirements

• Previous experience in a care home or similar environment is essential.
• Knowledge of care plans and home care practices is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with residents and colleagues.
• Ability to drive is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
• Basic IT skills are beneficial but not essential.
