Roles & Responsibilities
Every day will be different. Your main tasks include:
- Helping people keep their homes safe, clean, and welcoming.
- Supporting them to keep their tenancy, by speaking with landlords or housing staff.
- Encouraging them to be independent and make their own choices at every stage.
- Making sure every person feels respected, included and in charge of their care.
Eligibility Requirements
You do not need to have done this exact role before. We will give you training. We are looking for people who:
- Have experience in care or support work (this is helpful but not required).
- Truly want to help others live meaningful lives.
- Can use basic technology (like a phone or computer).
- Are open-minded and willing to learn.
- Believe in equality, diversity, and human rights.
- Are open to learning about our values and approach (we will provide training).
Qualifications
- It’s great if you have NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Care – if not, we will help you get it.
- You will need good reading, writing, and number skills.
