We are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a skilled interdisciplinary team within our children’s service, working collaboratively with our partner agency for the benefit of children with special educational needs and disabilities and their families’/carers’.

Salary: £55,690 to £62,682 a year p.a. (plus HCAS) pro rata

Roles & Responsibilities
The post holder will be a qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with the V300.
- Act as a role model for the wider teams and service
- Support and manage the Specialist School Nursing Team
- Be responsible for unertaking comprehensive health assessments, physical examinations, initiate referrals and investigations. Working closely with the Consultant Paediatricians, ANP for ADHD and Consultant Nurse.
- Be involved in establishing delivering and leadning a comprehensive service within community service for children with SEND.
- Work with parents/carers and local stakeholders to deliver innovative and impactful interventions and strategies.

Qualifications
Essential
- Registered Nurse (RN child, LD)
- Advanced Nurse Practitioner
- Relevant MSc
- V300
- English and maths
Desirable
- SCPHN
Experience
Essential
- 2yrs experience as ANP
- 2yrs NMP
- Managing complex and high-risk children/young people
Knowledge
Essential
- NHS plan and priorities
- comprehensive understanding of SEND
- Safeguarding children with SEND
Skills
Essential
- Basic awareness of IT and IT skills
- worked with EPR such as RIO
- MDT working
- Excellent communication skills
