We are looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant who is passionate about caring for the elderly in a small, homely Residential Home in Bangor, Co. Down. The Residential Home is a 15 bed home with a staff team who are passionate about providing a high standard of care, and ensuring Residents experience a good quality of life.

Eligibility Requirements
The successful candidate will be capable of assisting Resident’s with a variety of tasks and responsibilities, to include: medication administration, care planning and documentation, personal hygiene support, serving meals, activities and a wide range of other support.
Whilst a Level 3 qualification is not essential, it would be desirable, and the right applicant would be supported to study further if desired.
A minimum of 1 years experience in a Senior Care role, to include medication administration is a requirement for this post.
Roles & Responsibilities
As a Senior Care Assistant you will be the person in charge on shift and will lead the team to ensure a high standard of care is provided at all times. This is primarily a day shift position, although occasional night shifts may be required, and the successful candidate will be expected to work a range of shifts each week, on a rota basis. Where possible, alternate weekends off will be provided. Additional hours will be available at times.
