We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced Theatre Practitioners and Senior Theatre Practitioners to join a well-established private hospital in South East England. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern surgical environment alongside a highly skilled multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality patient care.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting surgical procedures across a variety of specialties while ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice and patient safety.

Salary: £30,000.00 – £38,694.87 a year

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the delivery of safe, high-quality perioperative care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.
- Work effectively within the theatre team in Scrub, Anaesthetic, or Recovery roles depending on experience.
- Prepare operating theatres, surgical instruments, and equipment prior to procedures.
- Maintain strict infection control and patient safety standards at all times.
- Support surgeons, anaesthetists, and other theatre staff during procedures.
- Monitor patients’ condition throughout the perioperative process and escalate concerns when necessary.
- Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and clinical governance standards.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP).
- Valid NMC or HCPC registration (or eligible to obtain registration).
- Previous experience working in operating theatres within NHS or private healthcare settings.
- Experience in Scrub, Anaesthetics, or Recovery is desirable.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
