Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescribed medications accurately and efficiently
- Support medication administration processes under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety standards
- Provide compassionate patient care by answering queries, offering medication guidance, and supporting health promotion activities
- Maintain accurate records of medication stock levels, expiry dates, and inventory management
- Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety regulations and maintains high standards of cleanliness and organisation
- Support administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and processing prescriptions as required
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes and enhance service delivery
Requirements
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and patient care practices
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism when interacting with patients and team members
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- A valid Tier 2 work permit is essential for this role
