We’re partnering with a new children’s residential care provider based in Manchester. Seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to help establish and oversee their service. This is a key leadership role supporting the Registered Manager and ensuring the home meets Ofsted’s highest standards from day one.

Salary: £250 – £500 per day
Location: Manchester, UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight across the new children’s home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted, Children’s Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Support the Registered Manager in developing a culture of excellence, stability, and safeguarding.
- Lead governance, audits, and continuous improvement processes.
- Liaise with local authorities and external stakeholders to build trusted partnerships.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Responsible Individual or senior leader in children’s residential care.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and relevant legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and safeguarding practice.
- Flexibility to be present in the home a minimum of 2 days per week.
