You will play a key role in promoting wellbeing, social interaction, and independence by organising engaging activities tailored to individual interests and abilities.

Salary: £12.25 an hour
Location: 71 Crofts Bank Road, Manchester, UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise, and deliver a weekly activities programme
- Arrange group activities such as arts & crafts, music sessions, quizzes, exercise classes, and themed events
- Organise one-to-one activities for residents who prefer individual engagement
- Coordinate special events, seasonal celebrations, and community involvement.
- Encourage resident participation and feedback
- Work closely with care staff to ensure activities are inclusive and accessible
- Maintain activity records and care plans where required
Eligibility Requirements:
- Previous experience in an activities role (preferably within a care setting) is desirable
- A warm, caring, and patient nature
- Creative, energetic, and well-organised
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills for planning and documentation
