Job Title: Care Worker
Job Type: Part-Time and Full Time
Salary: £12.60 an hour
Location: Glasgow, UK
Roles & Responsibilities:
- help support care staff in delivering the highest standards of individual care to meet the emotional, social, spiritual, physical and psychological needs of older people within our care home.
- be able to assess residents’ needs and plan their care exhibiting good teamwork and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- report to the care home manager on a daily basis or as required.
- have good organizational skills, time management and be able to maintain resident records e.g. care plan
- be creative, inspiring, and organized.
- an excellent role model to others, supporting fellow colleagues in their practice and professional development.
- communicate effectively with members of the multidisciplinary team as and when required e.g. nurses, doctors, pharmacy, etc.
Eligibility Requirements:
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
Language:
- English (required)
Licence/Certification:
- PVG (preferred)
- SSSC Registration (preferred)
