We are seeking a reliable, warm, and highly organised Hybrid Housekeeper & Nanny to support households with both childcare and home management. The ideal candidate will provide attentive, age-appropriate care for the children while maintaining a clean, well run home. This is a hands on role requiring initiative, discretion, and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

Salary: £12.65-£16.00 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities:
Childcare
- Provide nurturing and developmentally appropriate care for the child/children
- Assist with daily routines, including feeding, bathing, dressing, and bedtime
- Plan engaging educational and play activities
- Support early learning (reading, motor skills, homework help, etc.)
- Maintain a safe, stimulating environment at all times
- Organise children’s schedules, playdates, classes, and appointments
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
Housekeeping
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation across the home
- Daily tidying of common areas, bedrooms, kitchen, and play spaces
- Laundry, ironing, wardrobe management
- Meal preparation or light cooking for the family (if required)
- Change bedding and manage linen rotations
- Restock household items (cleaning supplies, toiletries, etc.)
- Deep cleaning tasks on a weekly or rotational basis
- Organise cupboards, wardrobes, and storage areas
Eligibility Requirements:
Essential Skills
- Proven experience as a nanny, housekeeper, or combined role
- Strong childcare knowledge and understanding of safety protocols
- Excellent organisation and multitasking abilities
- High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a tidy home
- Ability to cook simple, healthy meals
- Time management and ability to prioritise tasks
Personal Qualities
- Warm, patient, and child-focused
- Discreet, trustworthy, and professional
- Proactive and able to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the household
- Strong communication skills
- Energetic and positive attitude
Preferred
- First Aid/Paediatric First Aid certification
- Enhanced DBS check
- Experience working with high net worth or private households
- Driver’s licence (if needed)
