We are looking for a Care Assistant to be based in one of our Extra Care Services at Hawthorn Court on a part time basis. This permanent role is for 17.5 hours per week and involves a rota system which will involve working late shifts from 5pm to 10pm. You also will be working every other weekend with some bank holidays. We provide additional pay enhancements for all roles, applicable to shifts worked during weekends, nights, and bank holidays. The Hawthorn Court offers a vibrant community atmosphere which is in Keynsham, and this is easily accessible via public transport or car.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist tenants with personal care activities such as washing, personal hygiene and dressing.Promote tenant’s independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering the best standards of care.Adhere to and complete accurate and timely records of the care and support provided to tenants.Providing support to access third party and NHS services.Be a strong team player and work on own initiative when needed.Promote lifestyle choice, offering individuals the opportunity and motivation to retain independence and stay in control of their lives.
Eligibility Requirements
- Previous experience of working in care would be an advantage, but a commitment to deliver quality care is essential and full training will be provided.
