Chapel House Nursing Home is a well established Home in South Wirral, not far off the Park Gate Road Chester (A540).
We provide care for older people who may have a cognition issue e.g. Dementia, Alzheimer’s, some forms of Parkinsons etc. The home has an excellent reputation, and benefit from well established links with their community, as well good established staffing team.
We are recruiting 2 part time posts:
- Post 1 is from 7 or 8am to 2pm (with 2 shifts one week and 3 the next totalling an average of 21 hours per week – will depend on the 7 or 8am start)
- Post 2 is from 6pm to 10pm (2 shifts one week and 3 the next totalling an average of 14 hours per week)

Roles & Responsibilities
Your role will involve caring for individuals as per their personalised care plans, ensuring their physical (including personal care), mental and emotional needs are met e.g. being involved in activities. Good spoken English is important as it is the first and preferred language of our current residents.
We focus on supporting people in ways that helps them to retain as many of their independence skills as is possible. We ensure people stay connected with their families, and others important to them.
Eligibility Requirements
Whilst experience in Health & Social Care is desirable, it isn’t essential. What is essential is that you are enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, empathetic, flexible, hard working, not afraid of a challenge, a good communicator, and can work well within a team.
We will provide you with training and support for your role, starting with comprehensive Induction Training and Shadow work and then ongoing training and supervision. You will be helped to achieve qualifications in care, starting with the care certificate and moving onto apprenticeship (NVQ/QCF).
