Salary: £12.21 – £14.50 per hour (depending on experience and qualifications)
Location: London, United Kingdom
Your role will involve:
- Providing person-centred care and support in line with individual care and support plans.
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity.
- Supporting individuals with personal care, meal preparation, medication, and household tasks.
- Encouraging participation in social, educational, and leisure activities within the community.
- Managing challenging behaviours using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies and de-escalation techniques.
- Maintaining accurate and detailed daily records and reports.
- Working collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.
Requirements:
- Experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health conditions (essential).
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and person-centred values.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards it).
- Valid UK driving licence and access to a car (preferred but not essential).
- Right to work in the UK.
