Salary: £40,000.00 to £45,000.00 per year

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
- Automate deployment processes using configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Implement disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Develop scripts for automation using languages such as Python, Bash (Unix shell), or PowerShell.
- Maintain version control systems (Git, SVN) and manage release management processes.
- Work with containerisation technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Ensure system security by implementing firewalls and managing access controls through Active Directory.
- Participate in incident management and response activities to resolve issues promptly.
Experience
The successful candidate will have experience with the following technologies and methodologies:
- Proficient in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Go, C#, or Python.
- Experience with database technologies including MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) principles and practices.
- Experience with system administration on Linux or Windows Server environments.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
