We are seeking compassionate Home Care Workers to deliver essential care and support to clients in their own homes across Cumbria. This role is vital to the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support.
Job Title: Domiciliary Home Care Worker
Job Type: Full-time, Part-time.
Salary: £12.81 – £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications) (£25,000+ for full-time contracts)
Location: Cumbria, United Kingdom
Key Responsibilities:

Support clients with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming)
-
Offer companionship and emotional support
-
Prepare and serve meals according to dietary needs
-
Administer medication safely and in line with prescribed instructions
-
Assist with mobility and therapeutic exercises
-
Light housekeeping to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
-
Observe, monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
-
Previous experience in care, nursing homes, dementia care or hospice settings
-
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or working towards it) preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Compassionate, empathetic, and dedicated to supporting others
-
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently

Understanding of confidentiality and respecting client privacy
