Roles & Responsibilities
- To provide an effective and efficient cleaning service in line with NHS National Standards Cleanliness 2021.
- To provide an effective and efficient food and beverage service in line with Food Safety and Hygiene legislation and Improving the Patient Experience(ItPE) protocols.
- To meet the requirements of patients, service users, staff, and visitors to maintain and provide a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.
Eligibility Requirements
Qualifications
Essential
- Understanding of COSHH and safe working practices.
Desirable
- NVQ Level 1 in Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent experience or willing to work towards
- NVQ Level 2 in Cleaning and Support Services or equivalent experience Level 2 Certificate in Food Safety (or willing to work towards during 6-month probationary period)
- Allergen Level 2 Certification (or willing to work towards during 6-month probationary period)
Experience
Essential
- Experience of either food service or cleaning within a healthcare environment
- Understanding the importance of health & safety
Desirable
- Experience of working in a food service environment
- Experience of working in a customer service environment
