We are a family-run business looking for a compassionate and reliable Complex Care Assistant to support two sisters both of whom have complex care needs, in a 2:1 care ratio. At Blossoms Care, we pride ourselves on providing a warm, family-centered environment, ensuring the highest level of care. Your role will involve assisting with personal care, mobility, medication, and daily activities to ensure the sisters’ comfort and well-being. While experience in complex care is preferred, we offer full training. Part-time and Full-time positions available. Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Support mobility needs, including the use of hoists and other mobility aids.
- Administer medication and monitor medical conditions as per the care plan.
- Provide support with feeding and ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Monitor and respond to health conditions and escalate concerns to the appropriate medical professionals.
- Engage clients in stimulating activities and provide emotional support to promote well-being.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date care records.
- Collaborate with other care staff to ensure consistent, high-quality care delivery.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe environment at all times.
Eligibility Requirements
- Previous experience in complex care is preferred but not essential; full training can be provided.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with a passion for delivering high-quality care.
- Ability to work in a 2:1 care ratio, ensuring effective teamwork and communication.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with opportunities for overtime.
- A good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Relevant care qualifications (desirable but not essential)
- Driving Licence (desirable but not essential).
