About Langdon House Care Home

Location: Langdon House Care Home, Chesterton, Cambridge, UK
Job Type: Permanent – Full-time or Part-time
Pay: £12.10/hour (Days), £13.23/hour (Nights)

About the Role
As a Care Assistant at Langdon House, you’ll play a key role in delivering personalized, high-quality care to residents. Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll ensure that each resident’s unique needs are met through compassionate support and assistance with daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily personal care, ensuring a dignified, compassionate approach.
- Assist residents during meals, ensuring they receive suitable nutrition.
- Engage in meaningful activities with residents to enhance their well-being.
- Ensure each resident’s care plan reflects their needs and preferences.
- Attend all required training sessions for statutory, mandatory, and developmental learning.
Requirements
- Experience: Previous experience in a care role is preferred, but we can provide full support for you to earn necessary qualifications.
- Education: NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable.
- Skills: Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for caring for others.
