Finding a job in the United Kingdom as an international applicant can be challenging, particularly when searching for employers willing to sponsor a Skilled Worker visa. The Ultimate UK Visa Sponsor Checker is a Google Chrome extension designed to make this process easier by helping job seekers identify companies that have previously sponsored foreign workers.
Available through the Google Chrome Web Store, the extension works directly with popular job-search platforms, including LinkedIn and Indeed. Once installed, it automatically adds badges to company listings, indicating whether an employer has sponsored UK work visas in recent years. It also provides additional information about companies with a history of visa sponsorship, helping applicants identify potentially suitable employers without having to research every organisation individually.
One of the main advantages of this tool is the time it can save during a job search. Instead of spending hours checking individual companies, applicants can use the extension to narrow down their options and concentrate on employers with a record of sponsoring international workers. This can be particularly helpful for graduates, skilled professionals and overseas applicants hoping to secure employment in the UK.
The extension also provides a more focused approach to job searching by integrating sponsorship information into existing job listings. According to its Chrome Web Store description, its sponsorship information is based on trusted sources and covers companies that have sponsored UK visas in previous years.
However, applicants should understand that previous sponsorship does not necessarily mean that an employer currently holds a valid sponsor licence or is recruiting workers who require visa sponsorship. The developer also acknowledges that company names may not always match exactly between job advertisements and sponsorship records. Therefore, the extension should be treated as a job-search reference tool rather than an official confirmation of sponsorship eligibility.
How to access the tool
The Ultimate UK Visa Sponsor Checker is available as a Chrome browser extension. Applicants can visit the Google Chrome Web Store, search for the extension and install it to use its features when browsing LinkedIn and Indeed.
