Deducta is a fast-growing startup serving some of the world’s largest and most recognizable companies. We are well funded and actively solving the most pressing business challenges in the modern enterprise.
We are looking for a Head of Customer to own the delivery and success of our enterprise partnerships. You will work directly with senior leaders at some of the world’s largest companies, turning ambitious objectives into structured programs of work and ensuring Deducta delivers meaningful, measurable outcomes. You will own the customer relationship from sales handover through implementation, adoption, and ongoing value delivery, and help build and lead the customer team as we scale.
Job Title: Head of Customer
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Total compensation for this role starts at £180k in cash and equity
Location: London, United Kingdom
The Role
As Head of Customer, you will own our most important customer relationships and ensure we deliver against the outcomes we have committed to. You will translate customer objectives into clear programs of work, coordinate execution across customer stakeholders and our product and engineering teams, and maintain momentum from initial implementation through ongoing adoption and value realization.
This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-moving environment. You will need the judgment to navigate complex enterprise organizations, the analytical depth to work directly with customer data and our platform, the discipline to keep demanding programs moving, and the leadership to build a customer function that scales without sacrificing the quality of delivery.
What you will do:
- Own customer delivery end to end, from sales handover through implementation, adoption, value realization, and ongoing partnership
- Lead complex enterprise programs, translating customer objectives into clear workstreams, milestones, owners, dependencies, and outcomes
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, from day-to-day program leads through CPOs, CFOs, and other executives
- Work directly with customer data and the Deducta platform, developing a deep understanding of each customer’s business and ensuring our work produces meaningful insights and outcomes
- Drive implementation and adoption, identifying blockers early, coordinating the right resources, and ensuring customers can successfully use Deducta in their day-to-day work
- Coordinate across product, engineering, and customers, translating customer needs and implementation challenges into clear actions and ensuring customer learnings inform how we improve the product
- Build, manage, and grow the customer team and delivery operating model as the company scales
Success in this role means:
- Customers see Deducta as a trusted partner that consistently delivers against its commitments
- Implementations move quickly and predictably, with risks and blockers surfaced early rather than through firefighting
- Customers adopt the platform, can clearly articulate the value Deducta is creating, and continue to deepen how they use it
- Our customer delivery model becomes increasingly repeatable and scalable without sacrificing the quality of the customer experience
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a high-agency operator with a top-tier consulting foundation and extensive client-facing experience. You will have roughly 3–4 years in MBB or top-tier management consulting, with experience managing complex workstreams, solving difficult analytical problems, and operating confidently in front of senior clients. You should be equally comfortable getting into the data, running a customer working session, coordinating a complex implementation, and presenting progress and recommendations to an executive.
You might be the right fit if you have:
- Exceptional client leadership: you can build credibility quickly, manage demanding stakeholders, and become a trusted partner to senior executives
- Strong program leadership: you can turn an ambitious objective into a structured plan, create accountability across stakeholders you do not control, and keep complex work moving
- Analytical depth: you are comfortable getting into the data yourself, identifying what matters, and synthesising complex information into clear conclusions
- Problem-solving ability: you can diagnose why something is not working, distinguish symptoms from underlying problems, and drive the team toward a practical solution
- Executive communication: you can take complex, messy work and communicate the answer clearly and confidently to senior stakeholders
- High agency: you create clarity where none exists, take ownership beyond the boundaries of your formal role, and follow problems through to resolution
- People leadership: you have managed others or have the ability to build and lead a high-performing customer team
- Nice to have: experience in enterprise software, data, analytics, AI, procurement, complex technology implementations, or a startup/high-growth environment
You will thrive in our environment if:
- You embrace the principles of freedom and responsibility, and are comfortable taking calculated risks
- You thrive under ambiguity with high levels of ownership
- You demonstrate exceptional hospitality to prospects, clients, and teammates as a default
- You value candour and feedback, and deliver it thoughtfully and thoroughly
- You are genuinely excited by the possibilities of applied AI and the opportunity to build a high-performing team
As an early team member, you will help shape our culture, our processes, and our trajectory. We are growing quickly, and this role will evolve with us. You will be part of a team of exceptional people building something category-defining.
