Premier Care Support is seeking compassionate, reliable and person-centred Live-In and Domiciliary Care Workers to join our team. You will support adults with a range of needs in their own homes, helping them to live as independently and comfortably as possible.
This role is ideal for someone who lives near Amersham, Chesham or High Wycombe and surrounding area holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own car. You will be expected to travel between clients’ homes and attend appointments, so reliable transport is essential.
We offer a 3–4 month performance evaluation period, after which we are happy to discuss sponsorship opportunities for candidates who demonstrate exceptional commitment and capability.

Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for understanding each resident’s psychological, emotional and medical needs and delivering care in a compassionate, person-centred way.
As a Live-In and Domiciliary Care Worker, your duties will include:
- Companionship – engaging in meaningful conversation, supporting interests and hobbies, and reducing isolation.
- Personal care – assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting and continence support where required, always respecting dignity and privacy.
- Mobility support – helping residents move safely around the home and use mobility aids as needed.
- Medication administration – administering medication in line with the care plan and recording all doses on the Access Planner at the point of administration (full training provided).
- Household tasks – light housekeeping such as vacuuming, laundry and tidying, as outlined in the care plan.
- Meal preparation – planning, cooking and serving nutritious meals, or supporting residents to prepare their own meals where appropriate.
- Errands and appointments – supporting with shopping, collecting prescriptions, ordering medication and accompanying residents to medical appointments, recording outcomes on the Access Planner.
- Emotional and behavioural support – using Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategies as detailed in the resident’s care plan to support them through emotional episodes.
- Security and safety – ensuring the property is secure and reporting any concerns promptly.
- Record-keeping – completing accurate, timely care notes on the Access Planner and providing clear verbal handovers to oncoming staff.
- Teamwork and communication – fostering excellent communication, sharing resident information on a need-to-know basis and working in line with company policies, procedures and ethos.
Essential Criteria
- Lives near Amersham, Chesham , High Wycombe, chalfont or near by area.
- Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to your own car (insured for business use where required).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Compassionate, patient and respectful approach to care.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings as needed.
- Commitment to completing all required training (e.g. medication, first aid, PBS, manual handling).
- Right to work in the UK.
